Luxury Bride (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the Luxury Bride mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the App and related services. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Account details: name, email, password (hashed), phone (optional), city/country, profile photo or avatar, preferred language.
- Content you submit: dress requests, messages, photos or media you upload (e.g., dress images), preferences (color, budget, sizes), and other form inputs.
- Support & feedback: information you provide when you contact us.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data: app interactions, screens viewed, features used, in-app language, timestamps.
- Device & diagnostics: device model, OS version, app version, IP address (short-lived), crash logs, performance data.
- Push tokens: device tokens for delivering notifications (no SMS/contacts are read).
1.3 Information from third parties
- Authentication providers (e.g., Google Sign-In) may provide your display name, email, and profile photo if you choose to sign in with them.
- Service providers may generate analytics or error reports tied to your device/app instance ID.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories (e.g., health, finances, government IDs) unless you voluntarily provide them in free-text fields.
2. How We Use Your Information
We process information to:
- Create and manage your account, authenticate you, and maintain the App.
- Enable core features (e.g., browsing dresses, submitting requests, messaging/real-time chat).
- Send service notifications (e.g., alerts about your request) and optional marketing notifications (if you opt in).
- Improve the App (debugging, analytics, personalization, quality of service).
- Enforce our Terms, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
No sale of personal data: We do not sell your personal information.
3. Legal Bases (EEA/UK users)
Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we rely on:
- Performance of a contract (providing the App and features you request).
- Legitimate interests (App security, analytics, service improvement).
- Consent (push notifications/marketing where required, third-party sign-in).
- Legal obligation (responding to lawful requests, recordkeeping).
You can withdraw consent at any time in the App settings (where available) or by contacting us.
4. Sharing & Disclosure
We share information only with:
- Service providers/Processors who help us run the App, subject to confidentiality and data processing terms:
- Supabase (authentication, database, storage)
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications)
- Legal & safety: if required by law, to protect rights, safety, or investigate abuse.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (your information may transfer as part of the transaction).
We do not share for third-party advertising purposes.
5. International Transfers
Our providers may process data in countries outside your own. We use appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) where required by law to protect your information.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the App and for legitimate business purposes (e.g., security, legal compliance). If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it for legal reasons or to resolve disputes.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, update, or delete your personal information.
- Object to or restrict processing; request portability.
- Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent).
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

California (CPRA): We do not sell or “share” personal information as defined by CPRA. You may request access, deletion, or correction by contacting us. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a “Limit Use” link.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us to delete it.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information (encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. Permissions & Device Access
With your consent, the App may request:
- Camera & Photos/Media: to let you upload dress images or take photos.
- Notifications: to send service updates or offers (configurable in your device settings).
We do not access your contacts, SMS, or precise location unless clearly requested and consented.
11. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We (and our providers) may use app-equivalent technologies (e.g., local storage, device identifiers) for authentication, preferences, analytics, and notifications. You can limit certain collection via your device settings.
12. Third-Party Services
Our App relies on third-party providers. Their handling of data is governed by their own policies. You can review them here:

13. Data Deletion & Account Closure
You may request deletion of your account and personal data:

14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version with an updated “Effective date”. Material changes may be communicated in-App or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the App after changes becomes effective means you accept the updated Policy.
